Still, listing your offers on Craigslist or eBay?
You are not doing it wrong.
You are NOT doing it right though.
There’s a much better alternative.
It’s so easy to use it on the phone
Step 1: Tap in the “What are you listing” field and then choose Items for Sale.
Step 2: Add (or capture) photos.
Step 3: Fill in the remaining details, such as price, category and description.
Step 4: If you want, add the listing to any local for-sale groups you’re already a member of (another perk).
Presto! You’re done. In about 60 seconds or less!
It’s faster to sell on FB Marketplace
At last count, Facebook had 2.2 billion active users.
That’s a lot of eyeballs for your products and offers.
You might list on Craigslist or eBay, but Facebook is a much more effective yet widely untapped marketplace IMHO.
When I list on Facebook marketplace, I sell on the very same day at times.
It would take days or even weeks to sell these on other marketplaces (if any).
What needs to be understood here is that Facebook and Instagram, owned by Facebook, are mainly recreational activities. People go there to chill out and look around.
When you are listing something on Facebook marketplace, it is like promoting your offer right in the middle of New York Square, or whatever highly popular, heavily frequented social gathering place you know of.
On top of that…
It’s safer for sellers (and buyers too)
When the buyers contact you, they do it on Facebook Messenger integrated with the Marketplace.
You do not have to share your email address or phone number like on classified sites or other platforms.
You even get to know who is buying because the buyer connects from his or her personal Facebook account.
If you think the profile is a bit sketchy, ignore.
That’s all you got to do.
In contrast to this, how many of you have previously been duped on eBay by customers with fraudulent cards or illegitimate returns.
Overall, Facebook Marketplace is the place to be if you are an eCommerce seller.
How much money can you make from selling eCom products on that platform?
This guy makes around $20,000 per month.
