Samsung officially announced the beta of One UI 4.0 at the end of July. The new version is based on Android 12 and the company was looking for volunteers to try it out. It seems that the registrations went normally and the testers started to check the new ROM.
He made his appearance on Geekbench one Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G running Android 12. This model uses a Snapdragon 888, which means that it is probably located or came from South Korea – where the first beta test apparently started.
In addition to the Geekbench listing arrival of the new ROM. One Hand Operation received an update to support Android 12 (version 4.7.31). This is an application developed by Samsung and allows gestures and a smaller interface that can only be controlled with the thumb.
The update is mainly bug fixes and enhancements, but shows that Samsung is laying the groundwork for its devices to switch to Android 12 and One UI 4.0 . At the moment – as it is logical – there is no official schedule for when the release of the ROM will start.
